Østerbø Fjellstove is an idyllic and family-friendly accommodation with rooms, cabins, apartments, café and restaurant located in the beautiful Aurlandsdalen valley, just off highway 50 between Oslo and Bergen. This place has developed from farm to tourist business, and has roots all the way back to the 1600s. Østerbø Fjellstove is today a modern mountain stove with most facilities where new and old are in fine harmony. We can offer camping for tents, motorhomes and caravans, and there are possibilities for electricity connection. Adjacent to the campsite there is a sanitary building with washing machine and freezer. The area provides many opportunities for hiking, fishing and excursions. From Østerbø you can walk the last (and nicest) stage of the spectacular Aurlandsdalen valley. We sell take-away pizza, fresh bread, milk and various kiosk goods. The nearest grocery store is in Aurland (30km).
